Mangosteen is a fruit of the tropics are highly favored by consumers at home and abroad because it tastes delicious, beautiful fruit shape, and texture of a fine white flesh, so-called queen of tropical fruits. The objective of this article is to find out about mangosteen and the know/edge about gum disease yellow on the mangosteen fruit. The method used library research and other data, The collected data was analyzed descriptively. It can be concluded that the mangosteen as one of the fruits that has the potential to generate foreign exchange export countries and are also can be used as medicine.
