Abstract
Although studies of the benefits of Enter-prise Resource Planning (ERP) have been done before,the analysis of accountant satisfaction models in usingERP systems has not been explored specifically from theperceptions of accounting benefits, operational benefits,individual productivity, and managerial benefits. Therehas been significant growth in the use of ERP systems inIndonesia. Therefore, this study proposes a model of theaccountant satisfaction in using the ERP systems. Thepopulation of this study is the accountants working inJakarta. The data are collected from ERP users in severalcompanies in Jakarta by using a questionnaire withsnowball sampling method. As much as 282 respondentsreturn the questionnaire. The analysis of the proposedmodel is done by Partial Least Square (PLS). The resultsof the analysis provide support to the proposed modelthat accounting benefits, operational benefits, individualproductivity, and managerial benefits are indicators thatmeasure user satisfaction of ERP systems. The expectedtheoretical contribution of the results of this study is toprovide insight into the system user satisfaction model,apart from the practical contribution for ERP providercompanies for paying attention to the factors affectingERP user satisfaction.
