This study was aimed at finding the students’ perception on teachers’ corrective feedback and the students’ preferences on the types of corrective feedback that they received from their teacher. This study involved 60 students from Atma Jaya Catholic University of Jakarta who have taken Speaking I Class course 1- 4 years ago. An adapted questionnaire from Calderon (2013) and Rahimi& Zhang (2016) was used to gather the data. The results indicated that the students perceived the teacher’s corrective feedbacks have several benefits and important role of language learning. The teacher’s corrections were very beneficial in helping the students to improve their speaking ability. The way of the teacher deliver the corrective feedback is also affect the students to earn the favor of it. The findings showed the students wanted to receive elicitation feedback from the teacher that the students expect from the teacher.
