This project is to design a PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) control system that implemented with LabVIEW software. The application of a PID control system is implemented in a second order plant. Indicator of success was expressed with the ability of PID controller to control the plant it makes the output always tracking with the reference plant. LabVIEW is an attractive software that can be used to develop a virtual laboratory. This software is featured with both software and hardware package that can be applied directly to the industrial applications system and it is controlled with a PC. This software serves as the controlling device as well as a measuring tool for a hardware application. By using LabVIEW to perform measurements directly in the industry then it does not require a measuring instrument other than this LabVIEW software package.
