Sustainability reporting has been newly introduced to Indonesia, but it was welcomed with enthusiasm from the companies and government, even the Indonesian government made a roadmap for sustainability reporting. Sustainability reporting is a report consisting of economic, environment and social aspects that derived from sustainable development. Sustainable reporting also used the GRI Standards as their only guidelines and standards for each aspects. The aim of this research is to find out whether the companies applied the GRI standards accordingly for each of the aspects. Subjects of the research are Unilever, IndoAgri, ANTAM, and PTBA, because their companies have their own plantation or mining area. This research is a qualitative research using content analysis or case study by analyzing the company’s sustainable report. Main data was collected from the company’s sustainable report and then analyze using the GRI Standards. The findings of this research are that the companies in Indonesia that has done their own sustainable report already follows the GRI Standards. The four companies also reported on the economic, environment, and social aspect when doing their sustainability report. Sustainable report helps companies to realized their impact on the surrounding. |
