| The development in this era tends to be followed by the development of information technology which helps human work to become easier, faster and more accurate. Learning Course Center (LCC) is a service industry engaged in education. The administration process in LCC consists of registration, attendance for students and staff, student’s payment, payment of teacher’s fee, and learning schedule. Every month, the Owner receiving the data recapitulation which is calculated manually by Head of Division. This will pose a risk of human error, so the data provided inaccurate also the data can’t be accessed in real time. The purpose of this research is to design a tutoring administration information system for solving the problems that occur in LCC, so the information can be integrated and the process will be faster than before. The method used in this research is System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which begins from identify the information needs, designing the system and constructing the system. The information system is design based on the function of each department such as recording, monitoring, and reporting. This information system generates the administration activities report such as the number of students, number of teachers, teacher’s attendance, teacher’s schedule, student’s payment and report for payment of teacher’s fee which is represented in bar chart and table. System testing is divided into two, the first one is testing the function of the system. The second one is usability testing to find out that the system is easy to use. Based on the testing results, it was concluded that the designed information system can run in accordance with the user’s needs and easy to be used by every user. The suggestions for further research are doing the hosting, making an online registration, and developing an information system to be accessed via smartphone. |
