Isi artikelMany researches have shown that using RPG as teaching instrument is a promising way to enhance students’ cognitive as well as affective development. The problem with the existing games is that they are not built for educational purpose and they do not cater the need of students in learning with the appropriate material based on their current learning level. Meanwhile, the existing tool available to develop game for education is limited in its number as well as in its functionality. It requires 1) programmer (game developers) who understands all the technical detail of game development, and 2) domain expert who knows the material needed by students in learning process, in this case is teacher. The programmer and the domain expert may work hand in hand but there are lots of other resources required. Ganesha Game Builder is a tool to build educational RPG based on model driven development (MDD) that enables domain experts to create their own RPG with customable content and material without needing all the technical detail expertise of ‘serious’ game development
