Abstract
Teaching English for young learners comes in a form of integrated skill, and one of the skills is writing. In this context, writing also includes fluency, accuracy,
and how to use a concrete context like daily routines in the classroom The challenge in teaching writing for young learners usually lies in the students’ difficulties with the words and grammar they have written to express their thoughts, and end up asking teacher to help them determine the most suitable word or grammar in their writing. As it was claimed by Al-Gharabally ask for help from teacher to determine the correct spelling, vocabulary and grammar when it comes to individual writing. This claim is further confirmed with my observation in my primary school teaching internship back in 2017, Primary school students liked to ask for the English words of the words they wanted to write or asked for confirmation whether the sentences they had written had no grammatical mistakes when they have to write something along the lines of descriptive or narrative writings. It’s not only one or two students, but it often times racked up to five students in one writing evaluation activities. This might be due to the students’ lack
of familiarity in the vocabulary of the topic given.
