This paper reveals about the response of the students toward Peer Review Panel in Writing Class. Peer review is seen as one of the ways to motivate the student to cooperatively learn writing and assist them to boost up their writing skill performance. The objective of the study is to know the students’ responses on Peer Review Panel in Writing Class, whether or not peer review panel motivates the students to improve their writing skills effectively. The writer applies qualitative research. She uses closed format questionnaire design and distributes it to 23 students of writing 2 classes. In analyzing the data, she uses coding table system. The result of her research indicates that 13 students (56,52%) out of 23 respondents agree that peer-review writing is such a beneficial way to improve their writing skills, 14 students (60,87%) agree that peer review’s comments help them motivating and improving their writing skills and 11 students (47,83%) agree that peer review writing is effective to excel their writing skills. Finally, Peer review writing is effective to excel their writing skills. Conducting peer review panel gives positive response to the students particularly in creating collaborative learning process, motivate them to boost up and improve their writing in terms of grammar, content, unity, coherence, and supporting details.
