Abstract
Wet scrubber tank is a component of the wet scrubber, the tank function is as a chamber to separate the air and particulates entering through the inlet pipe, the basic material for the partition of this tank is GFRP, for this reason it is necessary to design the tank wall based on BS 4994 - Vessel and Tank Design and Construction in Reinforced Plastics and simulation using ANSYS 19.2 software, for the tank that designed by using GFRP materials can resist circumferential and longitudinal load, so can be stated that GFRP construction on tank for spray tower wet scrubber is safe to be used.
