Isi artikel
The study presented below is a research report which seeks to shed light on the relationship between the social functioning of urban families and their ethnic status. More specifically, this research attempts to assess the influence of social class on the way ethnic group membership affects family behavior. New interest in this issue was sparked three years ago by the publication of the so-called Moynihan Report. Findings show that social status overshadows ethnicity in determining the nature of family functioning.
