Isi artikel
In a roundtable discussion on a variety of broad networking topics, the validity of the assumption that a public network structure based on Internet Protocol for voice, data, and video is evolving is discussed. Participating in the discussion were Philip Belanger of Aironet Wireless Communications, Tom Burkardt of Castle Networks, Michael Centrella of Merlot Communications, Stephen Clark of OpenConnect Systems, John Fazio of Shoreline Teleworks, Doron Meirom of RND Networks, Chris Moore of iPass, Inc., and Jerry Parrick of Diamond Lane. According to Meirom, in time, all the different protocols be migrated into IP. Everybody is talking about technology, but basically the discussion is about the kind of infrastructure that will emerge.
