A questionnaire study was made of 330 couples who had chosen vasectomy as a means of birth control. The couples gave economic considerations as important in their decision to choose sterilization and to have vasectomy rather than salpingectomy. The respondents reported great improvement in their sex life following the operation; and, in retrospect, almost all were glad that they had had the vasectomy
