Stopmap or widely known as map is a folding cover usually made of stiff paper, for
example carton paper, used for storing important files. It consists of to parts such
as, body map and ears map. Nevertheless, the process of gluing the ears map is
commonly still using hand manually by human resources thus it seems inefficient
for the perspective of raw materials and the time wasted. Therefore, in this final
project has designed a tool that works for applying glue on one of the side of the
ear map paper. This tool is equipped by three axis mechanism that is moved by
using electric motors which its swivel velocity can be adjusted by dimmer AC. It
also uses belt pulleys transmission and spur gear combination to reduce the
rotational speed of electric motors. |
