PT. Trijaya Union is one of the companies that produce caroserie of bus and truck. Caroserie is an additional component that is paired and assembled on the chassis / framework of cars, buses and trucks. In the preparation of caroserie, a design or engineering drawing is required which includes a complete size which will be standardized in the manufacture of the caroserie. In addition, the calculation of the strength of the frame becomes a safety factor for vehicle. In the making of the caroserie in PT. Trijaya Union, there are some incomplete data in the manufacture of this bus carosery, among others, the calculation of strength, deflection and deformation of the frame structure. In addition, there is a change in the design of bus frame structure by the PT. Trijaya Union which will be compared with the previous frame structure design which aims to know which design is strongest. To that end, the authors want to help complete the data in terms of making the 3D frame structure design and calculate the strength of this medium bus frame structure. In the process execution of 3D design and calculation of this structure design, software that will be used by the author is Solidwork and ANSYS. This software is able to simulate the design that has been made, analyze the power of design simply. |
