Abstract
UD. Biro Sapta Teknik is a business entity engaged in the repair of factory machines such as dynamo electromotor, generators, transformers and the like. In the face of this competitive and growing business era, the UD. Biro Sapta Teknik is required to be able to design an appropriate management strategy in order to develop its business in order to survive and win the competition in this modem era. Along with the development of the limes where many new technological technologies are found and also the increasing number of requests, the UD. Biro Sapta Teknik should be able to survive, develop and strive to be able to adjust the ability with rapid technological developments and also improve its performance to meet increasing consumer demand. Companies that can translate their strategy into a measurement system have a better ability to execute their strategy. But today the company is only doing the measurement through financial performance only focused on the short-term goals of the company without considering non-financial performance. The company does not have a comprehensive strategic planning system so it can not determine component components to encourage the achievement of corporate objectives. Based on the problems that have been formulated, it will do research that aims to facilitate the measurement and monitoring of performance so that corporate leaders can make strategic decisions to ensure the achievement of the goals of the company. The method used is balanced scorecard method consisting of 5 steps. These steps include the identification of the company's vision and mission, the company's grand strategy determination, strategy map design, scorecard scoring performance design, and scorecard design trials. Trial conducted on company data in 2016. From the results of the experiments conducted the designed strategy map has been able to support performance appraisal petformance because the relationship between strategic objectives have been valid and proven in trials. There are 2 scorecards that are formed based on the scorecard perspective and scorecard based on the relationship between strategic objectives. Both scorecards can already be used to measure the performance of UD. Biro Sapta Teknik in 2016.
