Basically, east sumba district has a great potentiality in tourism but it has not well - developed yet. One of its reasons is household sector that is principally relate dto tourism has not been maximally involved. The results of this study show that household are willing to be involved in tourism activities. The production, creativity, education and government role are essential factors to increase their involvement in tourism. On the contrary, distance and capital factors have no significant role.
