The rooted religion in pesaguan dayak ethnic society has already created social integration through its rituals for example siwah. Religion role has been shifted as a result of development, especiallty when government gave the licenses for both private and state enterprises to exploit the forests massively for the sake of their profit margin without gving more concern ot the balancing of the ecosystem. It also threatens religious values that forests consist of not only air, water, plants, land, fruits, but also mystic power of ancestors. The ruins of forests spoilt the religious values because forests and land can not be separated from the ancestors who have given protection and fertility of the land.
