Isi artikel
Entrepreneurial savvy and private equity know-how built China's Goodbaby into the world's largest strollermaker. Now the trick is to create a global brand. In China-where the company is known as Hao Hai Zi, which translates into "good baby"-it controls nearly 70% of the stroller market. It makes two out of every five stroller sold in the U.S. and produce some of the most expensive models sold in Europe, where it has a 15% market share. Its complex of 11 factories on 500,000 square meters an hour's drive from its Shanghai headquarters churns out some 30,000 strollers, baby chairs, car seats, bicycles, tricycles and cribs a day.
