Rice comes from rice crops found in Indonesia. Ponggang Village in Subang is one of the villages that has resources in agriculture. Rice processing to obtain rice has a grain threshing process and also the separation of grain. In Desa Ponggang there has been an empty grain separator with grain content, but this tool still has constraints because the separation of the tool is still not as expected. Grain that the contents are still there who wasted during the process of separation took place. In addition, the area of rice fields in Ponggang Village is a hilly area so it is expected the tool can be brought easily to the hilly fields. From the problems contained in the process of separation of grain, the researchers tried to design a new tool that can function in accordance with the needs of the village Ponggang. After doing the observation the researcher found that the grain separator that will be built is also expected to function as a tool of paddy thresher from rice husk. After going through the making of the concept then selected a concept that is thresher tool and grain separator that can be brought to the hilly rice field area. grain pruners and grain separators can process 100kg of paddy with time approximately 60 minutes with oprasi cost Rp. 13,500. with this tool is expected to increase rice production in Ponggang Village so as to cause prosperity for Ponggang Village residents.
