This research is conducted to understand and study the aspects that related to the protection of Indonesian manpower, especially the dentist which is one of the professions included in the Mutual Recognition Arrangement of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). The objective of this study is to discover the protection of dentist profession in the implementation of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in Indonesia in facing job competition with other foreign dentists. This study will also try to discover ways to anticipate any issues that might arise from its implementation for Indonesian government. This study is a qualitative and normatif juridical research in which the data related to this study, such as the law principles on Manpower Law, is collected and researched to understand the extent of the results of this study. Based on the research completed, there are laws that are issued by the government to protect Indonesian Dentist Profession, such as Manpower Law no.13 Year 2003 and profession certification that is required by Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP) and issued by Lembaga Setifikasi Profesi
on the dentist competency. |
