Abstract
This research aims to perform a detailed planning of business development strategies that have been formulated for Mister Lie restaurant by conducting an environmental analysis that can be the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that Mister Lie restaurant has today. Mister Lie Restaurant is one of the new food business that serves typical Japanese Indonesiam food such as rice bowl located jalan syahdan, West Jakarta and Gading Serpong, Tanggerang. Currently, the owner of Mister Lie has a goal to open branches in various regions in the hope that Mister Lie can be widely known by the community. By looking at the conditions in Jakarta and Tanggerang region with a high level of competition in the food industry, Mister Lie owners need a good plan in overcoming the current state of the company. A planning needs to be done consists of planning the right strategy and designing the detail of strategic planning execution time undertaken for business goals can be achieved. The method used in this research consisted of EFE matrix, IFE matrix, IE matrix, SWOT matrix, and QSPM. Environmental analysis that has been processed with EFE and IFE matrix shows that Mister Lie is located in quadrant V in IE matrix where suitable strategy is a hold and maintain strategy consisting of market penetration strategy and product development strategy. There are 8 alternative strategies formed through SWOT matrix with the determination of priority strategy with QSPM The final step is to do a strategic planning for Mister Lie over the next 3 years which is divided into marketing planning and operational planning based on the existing strategy alternatives. With the annual planning done by the owner, the business goal was certainly to be achieved well.
