One way that can be done to achieve this is by paying attention to the quality produced by the company. By controlling the quality of the products produced, the company will get a good image on the market and also have an impact on increasing revenue by obtaining consumer trust.PD Ratih Jaya is a company engaged in food industry. PD Ratih Jaya is a company engaged in food industry. PD Ratih Jaya's production has been underway from 1982. One of the main products produced by PD Ratih Jaya is pepper products. The production process that runs in this factory has not been too well organized. So that after doing research the defective products produced by this factory reached 99% and with a process capability of 1%. This has an impact on the profits that the company receives from the sale of these pepper products. This study aims to determine the causes of this can occur in PD Ratih Jaya so that it can be improved and reduce the percentage of failures that occur in pepper production. With proper handling, it is expected that the company can increase revenues more than current income. By using the DMAIC approach, this research was conducted to get the root of the problem and its handling. The results of this study are to obtain critical quality control that can be used as a product quality standard, as well as making SOPs that can be used by the company as a reference for workers in carrying out their work.
