Abstract
This study aims to know the influence of competence and work motivation on the workers performance of foundation of Sinar Pelangi either partially or simultaneously. This research uses quantitative approach with explanantive method. The variables in this study consist of two independent variables (competence and motivation) and one dependent variable is the workers performance. The sample selection was conducted by nonprobability sampling method with saturated sampling technique because considering the total population is easy to be reached by the researcher and relatively limited is 35 respondents. Data collection method is conducted by distributing questionnaires to all respondents. After the data obtained, then the data is analysised with multiple linear regression method by using SPSS version 21 program. The results showed that partially competence have a significant positive influence on worker performance. Motivation have a significant positive influence on worker performance. Simultaneously, competence and motivation have a significant positive effect on worker performance of foundation of Sinar Pelangi with amount of influence equal to 75,5%.
