PT. IS is a manufacture company that operates in spoon, fork, and stainless steel knife production. Both the comopany and the factory are located in Pesing, West Jakarta. Furthermore, the company is currently using expedition services for their transportation distribution outside 'Jabodetabek' and three units of company's armada for the locations that are inside 'Jabodetabek' with the capacity of 5000 kg; 6,75 m³ and 3000 kg; 4,5 m³. With this transportation system, the monthly total distribution costs are Rp. 18.174.004 for spoons and forks. As a result, the company is having a difficulty to finance their distribution department since they cost very expensive and thus, the company is looking for other alternative solutions that can have a lower cost. This research provides two alternative solution regarding the transportation system for product distribution. The first one is to eliminate the expedition services and replace it all with the company's armada to distribute across Java. The second one is to create a distribution route sequence with Saving Matrix Method Based on Multi-constraint that is weight and volume constraint. The grouping for each route design priorities the value of biggest saving and it has to meet the requirement from those two constraints ehich are not greater than the biggest loading weight of armada, the biggest loading volume with adjusting ideal value 0,75 and utility percentage not to be greater than 100%. The distribution systems that have just been suggested to the company are all based on the minimum costs from the two alternative distribution systems. The calculation report shows that the scond alternative is system which produces a lower cost than both the first and the current one which is Rp. 9.190.940. The difference between the first alternatives with the current system is 1.369.488. The difference between the second alternative with the current system is Rp. 8.983.065, which means the cost is decreased by 49.43% from the current system. Therefore, it is suggestes that the company use the second alternative solution, which is to use the expedition services for distribution outside 'Jabodetabek' and to use 1 unit of 3000 kg; 6.75m³ armada to operate 5 'Jabodetabek' distribution route with total distance is 166km.
