For crash a network, we have to find the best crash schedule for a CPM network by using linear programming. To illustrate this, we will use a simple project with seven activities: A,B, C, D, E, F, G and by using AOA system, we can find seven nodes: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. All the data of this simple project is in this paper. The main purpose of this paper is to generate models that can solve time or cost limit probems. an optimum cost is needed when time limit is given. An optimum time is needed when cost limit is given. To solve this problem, we have to add two variables, Yi and Xi. Yi = number of weeks we reduce the normal time of each activity and Xi = the time event for each node will occur. Generation of linear programming model based on AOA CPM is shown in this paper. By using software (LINDO or Ms. Excel) computer program, we can find the optimal solution for the objective function and we shall get the optimal Yi values and the Xi values can appear also.
