Diagnosing this disease becomes difficult because of the uncharactherized signs and symptoms in patients. There are no inflammation biomarkers which has high sensitivity and spesificity towards acute appendicitis. Objective: To investigate the effectivity of laboratorium examination combination in diagnosing patients with acute appendicitis. Methods: This study is an analityc observasional with a cross sectional approach, which was conducted among 52 patients with suspected acute appendicitis. Results: Sensitivity and specificity of the combination of neutrophyl-lymphocyte ratio and c-reactive protein is 50,00% and 64,30%. For neutrophyl-lymphocyte ratio and leukocyte count, it has 45,80% sensitivity and 60,70% specificity. In test combinations of c-reactive protein - leukocyte count and all three biomarkers: neutrophyl-limphocyte ratio; c-reactive protein;and leukocyte count, the sensitivity is 33,33% and 75% specificity. Conclusion: The most effective examination combination to diagnose acute appendicitis is the combination of neutrophyl-lymphocyte ratio and c-reactive protein.
