It’s serious global health problem with 26% prevalence worldwide, and in Indonesia is in the second place in South-East Asia with 41% prevalence. Hypertension is a chronic inflamation process that can affecct leukocyte count. Neutrophyl Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) can be an effective measurement that easy to use by comparing neutrophyl to lymphocyte count. This study is conducted to get the value of NLR in hypertensive patient, as well as comparing the value to previous study about NLR normal value, comparing the NLR value between classification of hypertension, comparing NLR value between hypertension with complication and without complication, and to find cut-off point. This study uses cross-sectional method on 99 hypertensive patient at Siloam Hospitals Kebon Jeruk Jakarta. The results of this study are the average value of NLR in Hypertensive patients is 2,57 ± 0,96 (1,61 – 3.53), there’s significance difference between NLR value from this study compare to previous study about NLR normal value which is 1,34. There’s no significance difference NLR value between hypertension grade, there’s significance difference in NLR value between hypertension with complication and without complication, and 1,8 cut-off value is acquired.
