This paper describes the syllable structure and words in Ibu, a language that is almost extinct. The data is obtained from 4 male Ibu language speakers. The informants responded to the questions from a questionnaire. The objective of this research is to describe the syllable structure of Ibu language, which is V, VC, CV, and CVC. The method used in this research is descriptive. The data is analyzed based on the goal of the research.
