Interactional control analysis within this critical discourse analysis (CDA) framework is correlated with ideology reflected from the conversations in the drama text Trilogi Drama Opera Kecoa written by N. Riantiarno, a trilogy drama which consists of Bom Waktu (1982), Opera Kecoa (1985), and Opera Julini (1986). One operational characters of CDA is ideological discourse function analysis. Interactional control within this analysis is correlated with how speech roll is arranged in the dialog. The kind of roll depends on turn taking applied within the conversation. The turn-taking is used as a pattern to see the relationship ideologically between one speaker and the other, including the one who determines the theme or the one who is more dominant and more powerful among the participants
