Floods are usually caused by high rainfall above normal and also due to cover/land use in the upstream catchments area could not resist the flow of rain water, resulting in some soil adsorbed rai water does not flow to the region but lower than its capacity so that the rusulting flood. The purpose of this study is to analyze the flood based on remote sensing data of Land sat-TM in the watershed area Juana Pati, Central Java. The method applied in this research is based on an analysis of developments formations cover / used of land in 1989 and 2007. The results show that flooding in the lowlandsalong the watershed Juana Pati, Central Javacaused by the effects of changes in cover / land used and other causes because the processing of land in the watershed area Juwana not in accordance with soil and water conservation.
