The Indonesian Nation overview is considered as the total way of life in society, nation and state, in order to face the need to pull together the diverse archipelago. Good Governance principles as the exercise of political power to manage a nations affair effectively and efficiently which further is implemented as the way state power is used in managing economic and sosial resources for development of society. The objective of this article is to discuss the education of the Indonesian national overview and philosophy related to the implementation of the good governance. The method used library reseach and the data collected was analyzed descriptively. It is conclude that: (1) Basically the education of the nation overview is important to create the nationlism among the nation's members who should master, realized and proud that Indonesia is a big and dignity country in the world. (2) The individual member of the nation should love the country and be responsible to built and participate in building the country. (3) Pancasila which has been implemented as the philosophical foundation and political philosophy of the Indonesian state is similar to the principles of the good governance.
