An informed consent can be defined as an equipment of evidence given by medical doctor to patient and or his/her family to get the approval for surgery to his/herself as along as the risk will b happened. The purpose of this paper is to discuss that informed consent serve which could be used as a law protection to the medical doctor and patient. If there is a negligence done by medical doctor to the patient, therefore they can not be by patient due has previously agreed. The method used bibliography study. It can be concluded that an informed consest is valuable information which can give description as a means of protection evidence of law for medical doctor and patient in justice.
