Isi artikel
This article claims that at the heart of the humanities, especially within the context of university education, is the pedagogical right to philosophy. The right to philosophy is what Jacques Derrida's deconstruction fundamentally affirms. This paper considers the educational dimension of Jacques Derrida's deconstruction, which can inspire a renewal of the humanities. The lasting importance of deconstruction is the articulation of the diverse knowledge of the human person that seeks to challenge every exclusive view of what the human person is. Teaching philosophy is necessary in the humanities education of the human condition. Deconstruction as a pedagogical practice allows an open and contextual interpretation of the human person.
