Several questions on learning the ropes of Windows 7, a way to speed up a browser, and a better approach to finding files are answered. The features and functions of Windows 7 are similar to those in Windows XP; therefore, you are already familiar with these settings and tools. The trick is learning how to navigate Windows 7's redesigned menus. To speed up a browser, the next time you click a hyperlink on your main page to read a news story hold down the Shift key. This will cause the news story to launch in a new browser window. When you are done reading the news story close the browser window, and the original browser window containing the main page will remain intact. Organizing files in various file folders used to be the right approach, but that measure is now less necessary because Windows Vista and Windows 7 both provide a tool called Instant Search that can search all files in just a few seconds.
