This study aimed to see how the application of E-Government in West Sumatra. From a case study of the Districts of Solok and Padang the research shows that city of Padang tended to use more E-Government than the District of Solok. The use of E-Government in the latter includes the local government portals, Fiscal Management System, and Financial Information System and Regional Population Administration Information System. However, in each stage of them still in the publication and interaction phases instead of transaction of excellent public services.
