The purpose of this research is to understand that the Herbert Feith and Clifford Geertz theory is applicable in Kuwiran village. In the early 1950s the population of Kuwiran were very active in political parties, and some of them were elected to be a parliament member in the province and the regent. This qualitative research is based on the experience of the person who had political experience. This research is using interview method for collecting data and participant observation. This shows that before election on April 2009 ideology politics still looks deeply clear but after that it has changed that the intimacy, popularity and the active candidate finally has influenced the result in the election.
