Biocentrism has been taken on anthropocentrism on environmental issue. In biocentrism, the centre turns to all microcosms. The salient feature is recognition of the value of each microcosoms. It has internal value regardless of the disrespect might be. The center is not only on human beings but also on non-humane things. Anthropocentrism has been accused as the mother of all environment crises. Anthropocentrism is no longer eligible for fighting against environmental crises. Upon biocentrism, new approaches have been found and designed. There are several new approaches. They are deep ecology, a legal approach, feminism approach and animism. Papuan cosmology is compatible with this new paradigm. The cosmology supplies us with environmental issue. At least three things will be discussed, namely sacredness, equality and dignified relations. They are ethically relevant. Ethically, we are required to respect the nature in order to constantly and dignify relate to it. The special autonomy is a momentum to revitalize, to campaign and to issue it as bylaw. This is the local familiar way to overcome global problem. To start respecting the nature is to understand Papuan cosmology. This paves the way, which is closed to our heart to overcome environmental crises. In so doing, we contribute to the global problem with a local alternative.
