Regional autonomy, often places on a par with decentralization. Such a thing is not completely wrong, because, by implementing decentralization, it is expected to push region to become more autonomous in performing its main task i.e. to make prosper the society. To make prosper effectively the society, the position of regional autonomy has to be repositioned. This paper has its aim to discuss the reposition of regional autonomy and its impact to deliverance of public service.
