Isi artikelWork family conflict to explain any conflicts between job responsibilities in the workplace or life with work responsibilities at home or domestic life. In this study, respondents certainly have the knowledge and experience of working in Higher Education. The object of the research are lecturers, both men and women who are married and have children one at four universities in the city of Ternate. Methods of analysis for the first and second hypotheses were tested using different test t-statistics using SPSS Ver.15, while for the next hypothesis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using a program SmartPLS Ver 2. The analysis showed that family pressure on lecturers man is bigger than the family pressure on women faculty 3.4815> 2.1084 (t-sig 8.634 count alpha 1%). This means that the higher the family stress on male professors than female professors, the greater the demands of my family against male professors, because of family pressure emerged as the impact of expenses incurred over the life of male professors in her family. While the pressure of work on male teachers is greater than the pressure of work on women faculty 3.4815 > 2.1084 (t-sig 8.565 count alpha 1%). This means that the higher the pressure of work on the bigger male lecturer job demands on the faculty of men, because of work pressure can occur due to the imbalance between job demands and the individual's ability to fulfill it.
