From a survey conducted at 189 pharmacies in Java, it was revealed that 50% of pharmacy visitors have never seen the pharmacists who owns the place. There are only 5,3% pharmacists who give information to their patients. How about in Puskesmas? it is known that drug management in Puskesmas generally held by senior high school graduates. Approximately 93,1% dispenser in the trial areas and 75% in control areas give information to their patients. the data collected through cross sectional survey by using close ended and self administered questionnaire. an observation was also conducted in 50 selected Puskesmas to observe the interaction procces among patients and dispensers in Gresik and Pasuruan regencies, Madiun in East Java, Pasaman and Solok in West Sumatra.
