Poor sleep quality is one of smartpone addiction negative effect. Therefore, this study was conducted to know better about the relationship between smartphone addiction and sleep quality among A SHS students. Methods : This research is a descriptive analytic study with a cross-sectional approach on 300 respondents. The respondents are from grade X, XI, XII in A SHS. Smartphone addiction was determined by using Smartphone Addiction Scale (SAS) questionnaire and sleep quality was determined by using Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Data analysis was done with computer program. Result : 53% or 159 respondents have smartphone addiction and 80.7% or 242 have poor sleep quality. The number of respondent who experienced both smartphone addiction and poor sleep quality is 45.3% or 136 respondents. There was a significant relationship between smartphone addiction and sleep quality in A Senior High School students (p = 0.023) with the prevalence ratio is 1.952.
