The high rate of pregnant woment mortality in Indonesia was still a problem toward general helath societies condition. the effect resulted from pregnant women mortality decreament effort could be seen from the Household Health Survey (SKRT) 1992 which was integrally done with National Social Economic Survey (SUSENAS) 1992. The data gained was analyzed descriptively to obtain a clear description on reproducion profile, socio-economics, and atenatal care. the highest number of baby birth helping process in cities were conducted by midwives (55%) whereas in vilages (65,5%) conducted by traditional birth attendent.The average of 80% women aged 15-49 years living either in cities or in villages, participated in family planning.
