The Indonesian Retail Bonds (ORI) published with the coupons that are more promising than bank deposit rates. Government efforts to design more creatively profitable investment but safe for the community. This paper aims to introduce the ORI and the mechanisms of purchase, profit and risk on investors receive. The data collected from library research and other resources and analyzes descriptively. The conclusion is that ORI may provide an opportunity for people to participate directly in development and ORI has a significant characteristics compared to other investments.
