The aim of this research was to find an empirical equatiion model for the infiltration capacity around sagu baruk plant at different land conditions [Altitude, rooting depth], and also to determine water holding capacity around sagu baruk palm. this research was conducted from 23th May up to the 1th of June 1996 in Gunung Vilage, Tabukan Tengah sub district (kecamatan), Sangihe Talaud Regency, and altitude ranging from 0-400 meters above sea level, with soil texture clay loam, clay and sandy clay.
