Abstract
The design of the water flow rate in the water cooled plant compares the flow rate based on the AHRI Standard concept with low flow rate. The method is divided into three, first; parallel chiller arrangement with constant flow rate at chilled water and cooling water side; second; decoupled chiller arrangement with constant flow rate at chilled water side and variable flow rate at cooling water and secondary pump; third; dedicated chiller arrangement with variable flow rate on chilled water and cooling water. Modification of flow rate differences aimed to determine the amount of electricity consumption in the chiller, chilled water and cooling water pumps, and cooling towers. Through comparison of the flow rate system, the lowest electricity consumption is achieved with the concept of low flow rate in a dedicated chiller arrangement.
