Isi artikelAsbuton (Butonasphalt) is one of raw material in Indonesia land that C8II be developed,so it is proper for us to try as hard as we can to improve domestic production output. One of them is about developing mix types of Butonasphalt that already exist for surface overlaying. Mix type of Buton asphalt that used in overlaying Kawangkoan- , Amurang Worotikan section in 1992 was Lasbutag. Lasbutag is a mix of aggregate, asbuton bunker oil, kerosene and oil asphalt which can be conducted in cold process. Asphalt in Asbuton naturally have penetration< 4 and zero ductility; therefore, mix raw that used should satisfy the specification, and must be mixed with heavy oil which one of them is bunker oil. When mixing with bunker oil we should wait until the temperature reach 105°C.Kerosene used as a media to broke asphalt molecule in asbuton, beside that, if only asbuton itself then the content of the mix is not enough, then we should add oil asphalt (Abdullah, 1988). Hence,lasbutag consist of aggregate (crushed stone + sand) plus modifier (which consist of mixing of bunker oil, kerosene and oil asphalt) in certain proportion Lasbutag proportion itself basically based on grainn composition of capgraded Hot Rolled Sheet (HAROS). In this article we will discuss a mix composition design that only take percentage total mix data i.e mix design ASPP system with mathematic method. From the descussion we can have expecting mix result and can give contribution for upgrading Buton asphalt in road development in Indonesia.
