Implementinga project needs hwnan resources as labours. Labour inventoryis an important factor to concern, cause many difficulties arise when controlling them. Squandering labor cost happened many times. This is not an economically action that cause financial loss of a project, necessary to provide optimum labour planning and controlling attain productivity (Soeharto, 1995). One way to control optimally the nwnber of labor with minimum cost, is using Dynamic Programming which one of decision that connected each other.This technique provide a systematic calculation procedur to determine optimal decision combination.The main idea of Dynamic Programming is dividinga probleminto several problems which in this technique known as stage,then solve it with optimizing a decision over each stage until all the problem solved(Swastha,1993). The location projectis Development Tomohon-Tondano road project on 1998.After the writer conducting a survey in a project, taking several information about number of labour and cost of labor in the project, then calculation and comparing minimum labour using in project and optimum labour, as a resultof implementing dynamic programming, obtaining an economizing labour cost with optimum number of labour, i.e. the difference of minimum and optimum cost is Rp. 392.100.
