The objective of this research was to know the potentially land resouces for build pasture resources on raise the population of cattle beef in kabupaten Minahasa. The researchwas done in Kabupaten Minahasa, The Province of North Sulawesion 29th April to 30Th May 2002. The method in the farmers families raising cattle, The sample- identification was done- on Cluster Random Sampling in Stages. The biggest contribution to agricultural wastes come from rice wastes, 32,86%,corn wastes 31,86% and peanut wastes 23,05%, hays 12,22% from all kinds of plants fann by respondents, whereas, agricultural wastes from other plants not in data were not calculate. In villages sampling, we have corn hays contribute 50%, rice hays 22,80% and peanut hays 11,60%, whereas, rice hays from dry land 7,26% from all kinds of plantation wastes farm by respondents. In Kecamatan samples the wastes of agriculture in com 53,03%,rice hays in wet land 26,47% rice hays in dry land 63,11 %, peanut hays 5,59% and bean hays have the smallest contribution 0,07% form all wastes. In Kabupaten Minahasa, corn wastes 56,245%, rice wastes 29,25%, ricein dry land wastes 5,II %, peanut wastes 4,11% from all wastes of agriculture. The analysis result of some social economcs factors effects to the earnings of beef cattle in Minahasa Region have multiple R = 0, 850514, R2=0,723374F, (counting)7,66E-12 and F TabeI25,49. Based on the analysis result and the explanation above the conclusion were (1) The object of the raising cattle beef showed by land resources potentioal as pastures and agriculture wastes match to the nutrition need of cattlebeef. (2) The social economics factors of the farmers of cattle beef in fact, effects farm behavior on the development model on cattle beef in Kabupaten Minahasa.
