At this day, many universities have used e-learning to support the learning process, including X universities. X universities has implemented e-learning method which can be used by all of its student from any faculty. Courses material that distributed from e-learning are arranged by lecturer and can be accessed from any places at any time. Conventional learning method is different from e-learning method, in which the later required more discipline and initiative from student as well as good computer skill, in order to make an effective e-learning. The aim of this research was to analyze whether X universities student are ready for e-learning, based from indicator of 5 e-learning readiness dimensions, and to analyze any possible effect from students’ background like gender differences, grade differences, and faculty origin to their readiness for e-learning. The collected data from respondents will be analyzed using confirmatory analysis method so indicator that can represent dimension of e-learning will be identified, and calculate mean score of each selected indicator to assess level of X university acceptance toward online learning system. MANOVA multivariate analysis method was used to examine background factors such as student’s force, faculty, and gender. The result of this study indicate that students and lecturers of X university pretty much have been accepting this online learning process. Whereas for background factors, student’s faculty make a significant difference. |
